Entrepreneurship Untuk Siswa

Pada era sekarang ini dunia pendidikan di tuntut untuk mengembangkan kompetensi atau basic skill. Orientasi pendidikan tidak hanya pembelajaran formal dengan berbagai macam mata pelajaran, akan tetapi terkait dan terikat dengan tuntutan zaman. Sekolah terkadang hanya menuntut orientasi kelulusan dan lupa akan potensi, skill, dan bakat anak.
Di akui atau tidak sekolah adalah tempat mencetak manusia-manusia unggul, namun tidak dipungkiri pula bahwa sekolah terkadang melakukan dehumanisasi dalam artian potensi anak didik tidak dikembangkan. Memang benar sekolah adalah kewajiban, namun kesuksesan belajar tidak hanya lewat jalur sekolah. Lihat saja seorang ilmuwan Issac Newton menemukan berbagai macam penelitian tanpa harus sekolah, William Bill Gates orang terkaya di dunia selama 14 tahun saja keluar dari sekolah yang kemudian mendirikan Microshoft bersama temannya dan melakukan eksperimen hasilnyapun dapat kita nikmati sekarang ini.
Menyadari tantangan yang dihadapi dan kompleksitas permasalahan global, dimana technologiy competation yang ujungnya pada industrialistik, materalistik, sekolah atau dunia pendidikan harus melakukan orintasi baru melalui pembelajaran kompetensi untuk peserta didik.
Tidak heran jika pendidikan sekarang mengarah pada pengembangan berbasis kompetensi. Selain sebagai bekal potensi dapat pula sebagai sarana pengembangan sekolah berbasis keilmuan yang mengajarkan berbagai mata pelajaran.
Maka dalam menyosong era industri dan teknologi ini sekolah atau madrasah diharuskan melakukan orientasi baru dibidang pembelajaran salah satu caranya yaitu dengan memberikan pelatihan entrepreneurship untuk peserta didik.

Ekstrakurikuler Sekolah
Kewirausahaan merupakan ilmu yang mempelajari tentang nilai, kemampuan, dan perilaku seseorang dalam menghadapi tantangan hidup. Dalam hal ini seseorang dituntut untuk melakukan proses sistematis penerapan kreatifitas dan inovasi dalam memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen dan peluang pasar.
Peserta didik merupakan sesosok generasi penerus bangsa yang akan menjadi pewaris negeri. Pertumbuhan fisik yang cenderung lebih cepat, sifat emosional dan ego yang masih labil. Mindset (pola pikir) kewirausahaan inilah yang harus ditanamkan pada peserta didik karena dipundaknyalah menjadi generasi maju dengan bekal inovasi dan kreatifitas.
Maka alternatif itu bisa dikembangkan yaitu melalui program ekstrakurikuler yang merupakan bentuk pembelajaran di luar jam sekolah. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pihak sekolah untuk membekali anak didiknya dengan berbagai pertimbangan di antaranya untuk mengoptimalkan potensi, melatih kedisiplinan dan menciptakan kreasi, inovasi dan kreatifitas anak didik. Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler ada yang secara sepihak diwajibkan dan ada yang tidak diwajibakan ini terkait dengan kemauan dan kebutuhan siswa.
Melaui ekstrakurikuler melalui program entrepreneurship siswa diharapkan mendapatkan skill individu untuk dapat dipraktekan dan dikemabangkan. Semisal siswa memiliki potensi pada dunia masak atau makanan maka ekstra tata boga harus mengajarkan sesuai dengan keinginan. Dari sini siswa akan bisa berlatih entrepreneurship dengan membuat inovasi produk makanan, pelatihan market (pemasaran) atau juga bisa dititipkan ke kantin sekolah serta manajemen industri.
Bahkan sekolah dapat melakukan inovasi baru berupa pengembagan lembaga kewirausahaan dengan berbagai program pelatihan kecakapan hidup untuk peserta didik pada program ekstrakurikulernya. Dalam hal ini sekolah dapat memberikan The Learning Experience (Pengalaman Belajar) untuk peserta didiknya.
Sungguh sangat berarti sekali jika dunia sekolah dapat menyentuh sisi-sisi keinginan anak didik. Jika ekstrakurikuler sekolah dapat berjalan dengan baik maka akan mendidik siswa untuk disiplin dan nilai kepuasan pada diri siswa. Bahkan kepuasan orang tua siswa yang menyekolahkan anaknya dan pandangan masyarakat akan berfikir positif bahwa sekolah tidak hanya orientasi ijasah. Sebab melalui ekstrakurikuler ini anak didik memiliki bekal individu untuk bisa di kembangkan di kemudin hari.
Jika anak didik sesuai dengan potensi tentu saja akan mendidik mental mereka untuk bisa mandiri. Dengan rasa kemandirian ini siswa akan memiliki mental yang kuat dan tidak bergantung untuk menjadi pegawai atau bahkan sampai hanya menjadi buruh.
Inilah pola pembelajaran yang menyenangkan karena potensi skill mereka dapat diasah di sekolah tanpa harus mengeluarkan uang banyak untuk mengkuti kursus di luar program sekolah. Dengan demikian kesimpulan pembelajaran ekstrkurikuler sekolah ini, bahwa sekolah atau madrasah yang tidak pada program kejuruan dapat megembangkannya pada program ekstarakurikuler.
Inilah sekolah yang sangat menghargai potensi dan kreasi manusia. Termasuk potensi yang di bawa sejak lahir serta kreasi untuk mengembangkan, menghasilkan, menciptakan inovasi baru dalam berkreatifitas dan kemandirian.

(Refleksi Hari Antikorupsi Sedunia) Persoalan Sosiologis – Filsafati dan Strategi Memerangi Korupsi

Setiap jatuh tanggal 9 Desember, kita memperingati Hari Antikorupsi Internasional. Tujuannya, agar seluruh negara di dunia terbebas dari perkara korupsi. Bahkan di bulan ini, untuk mengapresiasi momentum tersebut, aksi massa bakal digelar secara serentak di berbagai penjuru tanah air Indonesia. Terkait dengan hal tersebut, Presiden SBY—lewat pidatonya kemarin (4/12)—sempat khawatir pada kemungkinan terjadinya anarkisme yang berjalan di luar kontrol. Kekhawatiran semacam itu seyogyanya tak perlu berlebihan, mengingat aksi massa tersebut adalah bersifat gerakan moral semata; bukan kudeta.
Apa yang menarik dari perayaan Hari Antikorupsi di negara kita ini? Jawabannya: Kita sedang merayakan sebuah perang melawan kejahatan korupsi yang terjadi secara sistemik.
Ya, perang yang kian sulit. Jika dahulu korupsi dilakukan di bawah meja, kini korupsi dilakukan di atas meja. Sejalan dengan asumsi ini, Transparency International Indonesia (TII) menuliskan laporannya: Runtuhnya Orde Baru tidak memperkecil kasus korupsi, justru sekarang keadaannya kian parah.
Sepanjang era Reformasi, beraneka institusi dibentuk untuk mengawasi sekaligus melibas sepak terjang para koruptor. Namun Indonesia masih tetap saja menjadi lahan persemaian tindak korupsi; mulai dari pejabat tinggi hingga merembet ke level pejabat rendah; juga tak hanya terjadi di pusat kota, tapi telah menyebar ke tingkat kelurahan maupun desa.
Masa Transisi; Persoalan Sosiologis dan Filsafati
Skala fluktuatif tumbuhnya prilaku korupsi, dapat dilihat dari kacamata sosiologi-politik masyarakat kita dewasa ini. Samuel Huntington dalam Political Order in Changing Society mengemukakan 3 hal penyebab suburnya korupsi di negara yang sedang memasuki fase transisi di era modern.
Pertama, modernisasi menawarkan norma-norma baru yang lebih rasional ketimbang norma yang berlaku sebelumnya. Akibatnya, benturan antarnorma tak dapat dielakkan. Dalam suasana transisi ini—yang bisa memakan waktu selama 1-2 generasi—dimana norma baru belum diakui, sementara norma lama mulai goyah, maka terbukalah kesempatan orang untuk berbuat semaunya tanpa legitimasi dari kedua macam norma tersebut. Tindakan amoral korupsi, tumbuh leluasa di luar kontrol dua norma yang sedang berbenturan itu.
Kedua, dibukanya sektor industri yang memunculkan sumber-sumber kekayaan baru. Masuknya modal asing berdampak pada terciptanya relasi jembatan emas untuk menjalin kerjasama antara pemilik “kekuasaaan politik tapi miskin harta” dengan pemilik “harta tapi miskin kekuasaan”. Akhirnya, “hubungan gelap” di antara kedua pihak tersebut muncul, untuk berbagi kuasa dan kekayaan.
Ketiga, pada masa transisi, biasanya negara membuat banyak lembaga maupun undang-undang yang baru. Efek sampingnya, terjadilah “negosiasi” antara penegak hukum dengan mereka yang menjadi sasaran hukum. Dengan demikian, pemerintahan yang sedang melakukan perbaikan (reformasi) sistem politiknya, di saat yang sama juga akan membengkakkan jumlah tindak korupsi. Perseteruan KPK-Polri-Kejaksaan, adalah contoh konkretnya masalah ini.

Ditegaskan juga oleh Harvey Cox dalam The Secular City, korupsi akan kian tak terkendali jika negara tersebut terdiri dari berbagai suku yang amat plural. Ikatan primordial dan nepotisme yang masih kuat, akan memberi iklim kondusif untuk berbuat korupsi. Cox pun menambahkan, bahwa korupsi sulit diberantas karena korupsi melibatkan banyak pihak. Sehingga sesiapa yang coba melacaknya, malah justru terjebak di dalamnya.
Apa yang diulas Huntington dan Cox, kini sedang terjadi di Indonesia. Reformasi sebagai masa transisi sosial-politik, tak hanya melahirkan semangat baru, namun juga di arah yang berbeda, telah nenambah kronisnya hambatan-hambatan bagi reformasi itu sendiri. Jalan reformasi terganjal oleh pihak-pihak yang ingin memupuk kekayaan, dengan memanfaatkan kesempatan masa transisi yang labil.
Di luar kacamata sosiologi-politik, kita juga bisa merujuknya dari 2 aliran filsafat yang berbeda; cara pandang fungsionalis dan strukturalis. Dalam filsafat fungsionalis, tindak korupsi disebabkan oleh watak. Artinya, korupsi hanya sanggup diberantas ketika watak korup pelakunya bisa diperbaiki. Filsafat strukturalisme justru melihatnya dari sudut yang berseberangan. Korupsi bukanlah watak yang ajeg. Sifat manusia tumbuh di bawah pengaruh struktur sistem di luar dirinya. Sistem yang baik akan menciptakan manusia yang baik, demikian sebaliknya; sistem yang korup niscaya menciptakan manusia yang korup.
Dua filsafat tersebut memiliki proporsi kebenaran yang sama. Ini berarti, sinergisitas antara perbaikan sistem dan perbaikan moral, harus terus dikuatkan.
Strategi Memerangi Korupsi
Ada beberapa agenda strategis yang dapat ditempuh dalam rangka memerangi korupsi sistemik di negara ini.
Pertama, melakukan sterilisasi terhadap institusi-institusi kenegaraan—terutama institusi penegak hukum (seperti Polri, MA, dan Kejaksaaan)—dari peluang berlaku korup. Untuk itu perlu dilakukan seleksi ulang Hakim Agung dengan memperkuat posisi Komisi Yudisial (KY). Selain itu, KY harus di-support dengan efektifitas hadirnya Komisi Pengawas Kejaksaan, dalam mengawasi kinerja para jaksa di pusat sampai daerah.
Untuk institusi kepolisian, langkah yang bisa ditempuh adalah dengan cara melakukan perubahan sistem internalnya. Secara garis besar, 3 aspek sistem yang bermasalah ini adalah: Aspek instrumental (paradigma dan kerangka filsafat); aspek struktural (desain kelembagaan dalam hubungannya dengan lembaga-lembaga lain); dan aspek kultural (operasional sehari-hari, baik itu masalah manajemen ofisial maupun kinerja polisi di lapangan).
Otoritas kepolisian juga harus dinormalisasi: Kewenangannya tak boleh terlalu besar seperti saat ini. Otoritas polisi dapat didistribusikan ke berbagai institusi pemerintahan. Dalam konteks ini, kita bisa belajar dari Amerika Serikat; yang telah meletakkan depositioning polisi di bawah sejumlah departemen.
Selain itu, Komisi Kepolisian Nasional (Kompolnas) dan Indonesia-Police Wacth (IPW) patut diberdayakan secara optimal. Dua lembaga pengawas ini harus diposisikan independen, baik secara struktural maupun kultural.
Kedua, membangun mekanisme peradilan korupsi yang efektif. Perlu dibuat khusus satu lembaga peradilan korupsi. Semua kasus korupsi prosesnya dilaksanakan dalam lembaga khusus ini, bukan oleh pengadilan umum (PN) atau pengadilan Ad Hoc. Ini penting dibuat guna meminimalisir terjadinya praktik suap di PN dan KPK.
Ketiga, mengelola kasus-kasus korupsi dengan transparan agar tak ada politik dagang sapi (judicial coruption) dalam proses pengadilan. Transparansi ini bisa disusun dengan memanfaatkan teknologi informasi (e-court) untuk pelayanan publik.
Keempat, melakukan eksaminasi (pengujian) publik atas putusan perkara korupsi. Jika terjadi kontroversi atas putusan tersebut, maka publik (kalangan akademisi dan penggiat hukum) dapat melakukan kontrol hukum dengan semangat yang lebih objektif (Riewanto, 2007).
Kelima, lebih membudayakan sikap antikorupsi di seluruh lapisan masyarakat. Banyak hal strategis maupun taktis yang mampu kita perbuat untuk memberantas korupsi. Itikad bersama yang kuat adalah kuncinya.

Tiada yang sulit untuk memerangi kejahatan korupsi. Selama masih ada political will yang kokoh dari seluruh stakeholders negara maupun masyarakat, korupsi pasti bisa dilumpuhkan.

Meretas jalan baru gerakan kaum muda

PETA gerakan pemuda dan mahasiswa (baca: kaum muda), sebenarnya bisa diamati dalam dua-tiga dekade terakhir ini. Generasi-generasi dekade 1980-an hingga medio 1990, telah meletakkan dasar-dasar epistemologis, keilmuan, dan konsolidasi gerakan secara ”tersembunyi” (underground). Term ini terbukti berhasil memberikan ”ruh” untuk melakukan perlawanan intelektual terhadap represi politik yang hegemonik pada era rezim saat itu.
Pada akhir 1990-an, gerakan kaum muda menemukan pijakan aksiologisnya, yakni dalam visi menuntut perubahan (reformasi) yang pada gilirannya membuat pemimpin Orde Baru lengser dari tampuk kekuasaan Indonesia. Sukses gerakan kaum muda bersama seluruh elemen masyarakat inilah yang kemudian menandai telah masuknya babak era baru yang dipercaya lebih demokratis.
Lalu setelah disadari bahwa reformasi 1998 kurang menyentuh pada hal-hal yang fundamental, maka gerakan kaum muda era tahun 2000 merasa perlu menyusun strategi lain untuk mengawal dengan seksama jalan awal reformasi. Konsolidasi terus diperkuat sampai dengan momentum Pemilu 2004, dengan harapan bahwa Pemilu sanggup membawa angin baru, sebagai upaya menggusur sisasisa watak orba yang korup, yang telah mendarah daging terutama di tingkat penyelenggara negara.
Beberapa saat menjelang pemilu tersebut, ternyata konsolidasi di basis gerakan kaum muda mengalami kebangkrutan, akibat banyaknya unsur yang larut dalam konstelasi politik kekuasaan. Gerakan kaum muda mengalami disorientasi, sehingga agenda-agenda pemberdayaan masyarakat justeru menjadi terbengkalai.

Belum lepas dari stagnasi konsolidasi, sebagian besar gerakan memandang, bahwa istilah ”reformasi” haruslah diubah menjadi ”revolusi”. Dengan revolusi yang sistemik diharapkan akan membawa perubahan yang lebih menyeluruh, yang diikuti oleh terbentuknya konstitusi baru yang lebih berpihak kepada rakyat, terbangunnya kesadaran sosial pada masyarakat, serta terjadi perubahan relasi kelas dalam struktur sosial. Untuk itu, konsolidasi seluruh gerakan menjadi sebuah keharusan.

Independensi
Ada nilai-nilai positif yang telah berkembang di era pascalengsernya Soeharto. Era reformasi ditandai dengan telah lebih terbukanya ruang publik ketimbang di zaman Orde Baru. Posisi-posisi publik yang lebih terbuka ini, dapat digunakan untuk ”membantu” negara dalam rangka keluar dari kemelut neoliberalisme yang sedang melakukan proses stateless.
Karena itu diperlukan perlawanan bersama dari negara dan rakyat terhadap kekuatan-kekuatan penyangga neoliberalistik. Artinya gerakan kaum muda saat ini memungkinkan untuk memilih suatu gerakan baru dalam pengertian yang tak hanya strategis, namun juga wilayah taktis, untuk memulai perlawanan terhadap musuh bersama (common enemys), yakni neoliberalisme yang berdimensi nasional maupun global.
Apakah ini tidak bertentangan dengan paradigma independensi gerakan yang selama ini dijunjung tinggi? Jawabannya amat relatif, sebab tergantung bagaimana gerakan kaum muda tetap mampu untuk tidak terjerumus pada watak praktisi serta kapitalistik.
Dan jika motifnya memang untuk melakukan perlawanan atas tirani neoliberalisme, baik itu di tingkat masyarakat sipil (rakyat) dan masyarakat negara (pemerintahan), maka independensi tetap bisa dipertahankan. Independensi gerakan harus dimaknai secara luas, yaitu untuk meng-independensi-kan bangsa dan negara dari hegemoni neoliberalisme.

Meretas gerakan baru
Gerakan baru kaum muda, bisa dirujuk dari pola civilizational movement, yakni suatu upaya besar yang hendak mendorong seluruh kekuatan tenaga dan pikiran, serta pergerakan sosial ke arah terciptanya masyarakat yang berperadaban sebagaimana yang dijelaskan dalam konsep civilization. Pertama, di tingkat suprastruktur, gerakan ini mengandaikan adanya bangunan ideologis yang kokoh di batin segenap anggota masyarakat.
Kedua, di tingkat kultur, ia juga meniscayakan adanya kondisi masyarakat yang mempunyai ketinggian tingkat keilmuan (literate society) serta inisiatif dan partisipasi baik di bidang ekonomi, politik, maupun kebudayaan.
Ketiga, di tingkat struktur, civilizational movement mempunyai tugas untuk memperbaiki sistem dan performa kenegaraan agar memenuhi hak-hak masyarakat yang biasanya selalu menjadi pihak yang dikalahkan.
Istilah civilizational movement sebenarnya bukanlah sesuatu yang baru dalam khazanah kaum intelektual di Indonesia. Ia berasal dari kata civic, civil, atau citie, yang semua mempunyai arti ”kota” atau ”peradaban”. Dalam konteks peradaban, pengertian ini mengandung jiwa perkotaan (citizen) di mana ditandai oleh tingginya partisipasi masyarakat, maraknya inisiatif pemikiran, tercapainya kemandirian ekonomi, dan kemajuan teknologi. Maka tak salah bila kemudian konsep ”gerakan kota”, menurut Naquib al-Attas (1977:15), akan mengarahkan masyarakat pada ”suatu kehidupan manusia dalam ketinggian tata susila dan kebudayaan”.

Strategi gerakan
Gerakan kaum muda harus mampu menjadi martir dalam mengkonsolidasikan seluruh kekuatan civil yang berbasis sektor apa pun, dan pembangunan masyarakat yang berbasis lokal. Untuk itu, hal-hal yang berkenaan dengan lokalitas perlu diperhatikan.
Dengan demikian ada beberapa strategi gerakan yang seharusnya dilakukan oleh gerakan kaum muda.Pertama, penguatan visi lokal. Penguatan visi lokal berbanding lurus dengan keinginan untuk menemukan keistimewaan lokal (local uniqueness).
Di sinilah kaum muda harus bisa mencari strategi yang paling tepat, ketika berhubungan dengan pemerintahan lokal (local government). Apakah pola hubungannya dibangun secara konfliktual (vis a vis) atau dibangun di atas pondasi kemitraan (consensus), semuanya harus dipertimbangkan secara matang.
Kedua, peningkatan partisipasi lokal. Peningkatan partisipasi lokal berarti dua pengertian; pertama, partisipasi kritis, dan kedua, partisipasi kooperatif. Model partisipasi yang pertama dipakai untuk menghadapi pemerintah lokal yang korup, dan menghamba pada pemodal yang eksploitatif, sehingga dibutuhkan sikap oposisi kritis untuk mengubah struktur yang menindas tersebut. Model partisipasi yang kedua digunakan untuk menghadapi pemerintah lokal yang membutuhkan advokasi politik untuk melawan pemerintah pusat yang otoritarian atau pemodal yang eksploitatif.
Ketiga, pengembangan kapasitas dan kompentensi sumberdaya lokal. Pengembangan kapasitas dan kompetensi mempunyai pengertian bahwa setiap sumberdaya manusia di tingkat lokal harus dapat diandalkan melalui pengelolaan yang baik atas semua sumberdaya di lokal tersebut.
Gerakan kaum muda yang berbasis intelektualisme serta concern pada pembelaannya atas kelompok ”terpinggirkan”, tampaknya memiliki peluang baru untuk merealisasikan karakter pola civilizational movement ini. Gerakan ini harus diarahkan pada upaya menghimpun seluruh potensi sosial dari berbagai elemen masyarakat untuk menggerakkan perlawanan sistemik atas tirani kekuatan global neoliberalistik.

Values Education For Children Ecology


Indonesia's education system more built-up edict policy regime ideology, not born of awareness and education experts. So education is now experiencing a very serious disease and need of a systematic, because education as a process and not only at the pleasure enjoyed by the ruler and a certain social layer.
Personal values to their students are in need as an effort to build awareness for the environment and who himself lives. The value of education is education that emphasizes the aspects of teaching and guidance to students in order to realize the value of truth, goodness, and beauty. For the educational value is in the need for progress in education, because education is now only a moral focus on the cognitive learning is not moral.
So in the spirit of education need to restore the learning process as the embed values, including the value of the environment to the students. Environmental education as a way to provide introduction and awareness of the environment. Aspects of ethics, morality is not merely given only to interact among each other, but also of value to the environment of his life.
Environmental Values Education
Environmental pollution problem gets much attention, because it overrides the world of today and generations to come. If it be, the main factor of a destruction of the environment as a result of large-scale products, modern technology. Human activities in the field of industrial burning of forest products have been produced bursts of billions of tons of particles, gas and carbon dioxide klorofluorokarbon. This carbon emissions arising from burning fossil fuels that can not be diperbaruhi, such as coal, gas, and petroleum. Damage to forests in Indonesia, particularly as the lungs of the world have a big enough contribution to climate change as a trigger and as a result of global warming menipisnya the ozone layer.
